Kenmare, Ring of Beary, Dursey Island (6-15-2006) (62 images)
We decided to escape the tourist crowds on the Ring of Kerry and peace out instead to the Ring of Beary. The "rings" are pretty much big jutting penninsulas sticking out of the bottom of Ireland with big driving loops and spectacular scenery. Scary driving too...the roads are about 3/4 the width of one of our lanes most of the way (and thats for two-way traffic!). Mom got freaked out by my driving SKILLZ. Note the utterly hilarious sign we found pointing the way to Moscow, a mere 3300 km away hehe.
